Since the stout barrel swap went so well in 2013, they aged this Jameson in Franciscan Well brewery IPA barrels. Both crisp and smooth with notes of citrus and floral.
JAMESON COOPER’S CROZE
The first part in a series celebrating whiskey makers, Cooper’s (barrel maker) Croze (tool used by Cooper) honors the art of the head cooper at Midleton distillery, whose skill has been passed down for 5 generations. Matured in bourbon and sherry casks, leaving notes of vanilla and fruit with a touch of hazelnut and toasted wood.

MIDLETON VERY RARE 2017
This whiskey was created in 1984 and released annually every year. The Master Distiller hand selects the finest and rarest whiskey, blending to create each year’s limited and highly distinguished, vintage release. Initial introduction in the mouth is smooth and sweet with vanilla and red apple, then cinnamon, clove, root ginger, and antique wood. The finish is long with spices giving way to green fruit and stalks of barley.
MIDLETON BARRY CROCKETT
Named in honor of Barry Crockett, a celebrated 2nd generation Master Distiller at Midleton, who created the Midleton Very Rare. First released in 2011, it is a single pot still whiskey aged in both bourbon and new American oak barrels, and winner of over 30 awards. Light pepper on to fresh citrus, limes, and mandarin sweetness, hints of cinnamon, vanilla, and oak that finishes with a full spectrum of flavors fading into American oak.

One of the first companies to bottle their whiskey, located in county Cork. Consisting of relatively low pot still content and a high proportion of malt whiskey that is matured in oak casks up to 7 years. Soft and mellow with a touch of sweet oil, spices, and background notes of honey, vanilla, and toasted wood. (First whiskey owner Mary drank in Ireland!)

TULLAMORE DEW 12 YEAR
Blend of three Irish whiskeys with a high proportion of pot still and malt whiskeys matured in a combination of bourbon and sherry casks for12 to 15 years. Deep spice with a creamy body with a chocolate note accompanied with dried fruit and nut, the finish is long with citrus, chocolate, raisin, and marzipan.
TULLAMORE DEW 18 YEAR SINGLE MALT
Limited edition with fewer than 2,500 bottles, finished for up to 6 months in bourbon, sherry, Port, and Madeira casks. The taste is rich with oak, spice, and burnt caramel with a finish of raw honey, toffee, burnt caramel and sharp spice.
TYRCONNELL SINGLE MALT
Legendary double distilled single malt born in 1876, named in celebration of the chestnut-colored colt, Tyrconnell, who bested horses and oddsmakers at the prestigious National Produce Stakes horse race. Initially intended to be a single release, it became a mainstay after receiving accolades. The taste is rich and honeyed with the finish bringing forth the malt, allowing the graininess to come forward.
TYRCONNELL 10 YEAR SHERRY CASK
After 10 years aging, this whiskey spends 6 to 8 months in Spanish Oloroso sherry casks. The single malt and fortified wine cask is described as a veritable dessert in a glass. Thick notes of sherry with hints of a tarte tatin (upside down pastry where fruit is caramelized before baked) and custard.
TYRCONNELL 10 YEAR MADEIRA CASK
Aged 10 years, then finished in a Madeira cask. Begins with a salty, red fruit nose, then finishes dry with cocoa, caramel, and allspice.
GLENDALOUGH DOUBLE BARREL
A single grain Irish whiskey aged first for 3% years in bourbon barrels then finished for 6 months in Oloroso sherry casks. From the bourbon barrels you’ll pick up chocolate and caramel notes, from the Oloroso casks you’ll find fruitier notes with touches of nutty and from both barrels being oaked, you’ll get a vanilla thread throughout.
GLENDALOUGH POITIN
Poitin came before whiskey and hails from the Irish monastic settlements, known to be the birthplace of distilling with records dating from 584 AD. Traditionally, Poitin was made from malted barley, sugar beet and potatoes by Irish monks. Glendalough 13 year – 13 is known as Ireland’s luckiest number – is a single malt Irish whiskey. You’ll note hints of spice, creamy vanilla and biscuity flavored malts.

KILBEGGAN
Dating back to 1757 and named after St. Becan, this whiskey is one of the twelve apostles of Ireland, founder of a 6th century monastery. A blended grain and malt whiskey that is double distilled an anomaly, as Irish whiskey, as a rule, is triple distilled. Flavor notes are honey, malty, pepper, and woody.
